- Annora Mary Ursula McGuinness (b. 1889), “Auntie Nora”: family members remember her still living in the mid-1980s, so she died after 1985, in her late nineties or later. Her married name was Danaher; when and where did she marry? Family recollection says her children were Jerry and Moira. No marriage or death has been found yet. The 1911 census said both sisters had married.
- Great Uncle Norman: now identified as Norman Wilkinson (b. 1901), Hartley's younger brother. When and where did he die? Was it the 1979 Northumberland death?
- Hartley's parents: his mother was née Harrison. What were his father's name and occupation, and when did they marry? Were there more daughters?
- Dorothy and Henry Wilkinson (b. 1889): what became of them?
- “Fairview”: address found. Pamela's birth certificate gives 8 Holme Gardens, Sunderland. It is still to be confirmed, through a street directory for example, that “Fairview” was no. 8's house name. Was there also an earlier home in Roker?
- Hartley's father: was he Peter Wilkinson, and is the 1892 Peter Wilkinson–Sarah Harrison marriage the right one?
- Nelly's Irish origins: probably Shanid, Co. Limerick, as the daughter of Philip and Catherine Kelly. The 1885 marriage certificate would prove it. Where do the Clare and Kilkenny memories fit in?
- Certificates pending: the 1885 McGuinness–O'Kelly marriage certificate, which would give both fathers' names and occupations, and the PDF copy of Constance's birth entry.
- Philip's court-martial: the charge would be in the court-martial registers (WO 90, WO 92 or WO 213) and perhaps in his RAF airman's record (AIR 79) at The National Archives, Kew. None of these is online free.
- Philip's later life: confirm the 1967 York death, through the probate calendar for example.
